Andrew Regan | Ice Challenger 2005
Andrew Regan is an experienced Polar Explorer. As part of the 2005 Ice Challenger Expedition team he set a new world record for the fastest journey from the Antarctic coast to the South Pole. The team completed the journey in just 69 hours, easily breaking the previous record of 24 days.
The team travelled in a specially modified 6 wheel drive vehicle which was capable of driving in the extreme conditions. The expedition was also helped to create awareness about global warming and climate change.
