This website is focusing on educational material for Key Stage 2: Ages 7-11 (Years 3-6). The Arctic and Antarctic are therefore useful tools for illustrating food webs and in Geography.
These educational resources are designed to assist teachers with planning lessons, parents looking for educational and creative online outlets for their children.

Learning Games

Syllabus Information
The National Curriculum suggests that there are a number of reasons why the use of Maps is particularly important during Key Stage 2. This presents a useful opportunity to incorporate the polar regions into teaching from an early age which in turn can promote awareness about the two regions global importance.
