The Arctic is like a giant iceberg floating at the top of the world and is home to many things including people, seals, and polar bears.
Because the North and South Pole are so cold very few things can survive there. Most of the life that lives there though is found nowhere else on earth.
Antarctica is the coldest place on earth and is also probably the earth's last real wilderness. It is covered by snow and ice all year.
